I am thinking about incorporating some of the construction I used for the Mighty Mo. This includes the Aerosleeves on the body tube and the Kevlar Tape at the upper lip of the body tube. I tend to think apogee deployment. The altimeter bay will be interesting. One option would be to put an bay in the nose. The nose in the picture seems to have a long shoulder. I know it is not the recommended location. Another idea is to put the bay behind a door between the CRs of the motor tube. I can't see any ideal location at this point. I hope to get the kit this week. I can get a better feel when I see it.

I could not resist this X-15 Kit

I was very impressed with this ProLine X15 kit I saw in Extreme Rocketry.
